Responsibilities

• Assist with inventory counts and product rotation to ensure freshness and quality
• Prepare produce for display by trimming, washing, banding, and wrapping
• Build, rotate, and maintain product displays according to department schematics
• Clean and sanitize work areas and monitor temperatures in coolers and cases
• Unload trucks and organize inventory
• Maintain pricing and signage
• Cut fruits and vegetables for packaged sales
• Maintain cleanliness of scales and work cross-functionally with other departments

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
• Previous experience in produce departments or supermarkets preferred
• Bilingual in English and Spanish

Skills

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Ability to collaborate and follow instructions
• Multi-tasking and customer service oriented

Physical Demands

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Requires sitting, standing, and handling objects or controls
• Close vision and ability to adjust focus
• Work environment ranges from quiet to loud, typical of an office and retail store
• Ability to drive and travel to all company locations as required
