EthosEnergy is seeking a Procurement Specialist to join the Houston, Texas Light Turbine team. In this role you will lead procurement and supplier‑management activities that support manufacturing, repair operations, and customer‑delivery commitments. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure material availability, strengthen supplier performance, and drive supply‑chain excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Source, evaluate, and onboard suppliers; negotiate pricing, lead times, and commercial terms to achieve cost‑effective and reliable supply solutions.
  • Issue and manage purchase orders for production, repair services, and non‑stock materials in alignment with company policies and approval authorities.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for supplier communication, resolving issues related to pricing, delivery, technical requirements, and material availability.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or a related function.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement practices, supply‑chain operations, and inventory‑management principles.
  • Experience using ERP systems and procurement tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms).
  • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and develop solutions to complex supply and demand challenges.
  • Demonstrated success in supplier negotiations, contract management, and vendor‑relationship development.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross‑functional teams (operations, engineering, finance).
  • Strategic mindset to develop and execute sourcing, inventory, and supply‑chain strategies that mitigate risk and support long‑term operational growth.
  • Ability to balance short‑term operational needs with long‑term planning, capacity management, and cost‑optimization initiatives.

Education

Bachelor’s degree preferred in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field; an equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
