About the role
We are seeking a Procurement Manager to lead our procurement function and develop a high-performing team. This role oversees stabilization and optimization of the company’s ERP system as it relates to procurement processes.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement procurement strategies, policies, procedures, and governance to create a standardized and efficient procurement function.
- Lead strategic sourcing decisions to directly support the organization's strategic objectives and achieve annual operating budget.
- Build a culture of accountability and continuous improvement within the procurement organization.
- Stabilize, optimize, and maintain the organization’s ERP system as it relates to procurement, purchasing, inventory, supplier management, and reporting.
- Partner with IT, Finance, Operations, and key stakeholders to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve ERP-related procurement issues while driving system enhancements.
- Establish and manage strategic sourcing initiatives to reduce costs, improve supplier performance, and mitigate supply chain risks.
- Lead supplier selection, contract negotiations, and supplier relationship management to maximize value and service levels.
- Develop and drive organizational discipline around key procurement performance indicators (KPIs), and participate in operational daily management system (DMS).
- Implement performance dashboards and reporting processes that provide visibility into procurement operations and support executive decision-making.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and deliver effective procurement solutions.
- Exhibit strong leadership, coaching, and development to engage team members and build a cohesive team.
- Identify, recruit, and retain top-notch talent.
- Set performance standards and support growth through delegation, continuous feedback, goal setting, and performance management.
- Foster an inclusive, safe, and respectful work environment.
Requirements
- A minimum of six (6) years of experience in procurement and supply chain leadership with a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
- A minimum of four (4) years of experience leading and managing teams.
- Experience supporting or leading ERP implementation and stabilization (e.g., Infor M3 or similar).
- Strong knowledge of strategic sourcing, contract management, supplier performance management, and procurement best practices.
- Proven ability to develop KPI frameworks, dashboards, and performance management systems.
- Excellent leadership, project management, negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
- Strong financial acumen and business knowledge.
