You'll work on a meaningful project tied to real business needs, partner with leaders across the organization, and gain exposure to one of the largest food distribution companies in North America. Strong supplier partnerships, thoughtful purchasing decisions, and effective inventory management help keep our business moving. As a Procurement Intern, you'll learn how our teams manage vendor relationships, pricing and contract terms, service levels, and inventory while supporting day-to-day work and projects. Responsibilities
- Learn how procurement teams manage vendor and supplier relationships
- Support purchasing activities involving pricing, contract terms, service levels, and inventory tracking
- Assist with day-to-day procurement activities, customer service, and business projects
- Partner with teams across Sales, Operations, Finance, and Human Resources
- Present project findings and recommendations to business leaders

Requirements
- Must be located within commuting distance of Richmond, VA
- Rising Junior or Rising Senior
- Authorized to work in the United States
Skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong customer service skills and business acumen
- Ability to work flexible hours
Qualifications
- Major(s): Economics, Business, Supply Chain, or related field
Pay
Compensation: $22/hour (also listed as $21.50/hour elsewhere in the posting)
