Job Summary

The Procurement Data Coordinator is responsible for data and technology management including data acquisition, mining, analysis, data integrity management, metrics management and reporting. This role involves gathering and analyzing relevant supplier data in support of various supplier outreach initiatives related to risk, supplier sustainability and responsible sourcing initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Gathers and analyzes relevant supplier data in support of various supplier outreach initiatives related to risk, supplier sustainability and responsible sourcing initiatives.
  • Updates the pertinent supplier information in the BD systems and ensures ongoing maintenance and governance.
  • Works in a team environment and interfaces with internal Procurement stakeholders as well as Operations, Quality and supply chain teams to ensure completeness and accuracy of data.
  • Timely management and delivery of accurate information to support ongoing and upcoming supplier outreach initiatives and addresses any initial inquiries received from suppliers.
  • Provides administrative support to the Procurement Effectiveness team and takes on special projects as assigned and required to align with functional deliverables.
  • Coordination and management of updates to critical data such as category and subcategory designations and updates.
  • Creation and maintenance of SharePoint sites or maintenance of data in Scout or working with vendor master team and IT to ensure all BD source to settle systems are updated to reflect accurate vendor master data.
  • Facilitation and management of engagements with the Shared Service Center.

Requirements

  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to demonstrate strong teamwork and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be detail-oriented.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Strong time management skills required.
  • Proficient/Working Skills: Must be proficient in English with the ability to read, write, analyze/evaluate data. Strong proficiency in MS Office Excel, Word, and Outlook is required. Excel test required.
  • Basic knowledge of ERP systems like SAP (preferred), JDE etc.

Preferred Competencies

  • Master data process knowledge
  • Procurement process knowledge
  • Procurement, manufacturing or other supply chain experience
  • Supporting multiple sites or groups in a centralized environment

Experience

  • A minimum of two years of business experience required, with some experience in a related field desired.
  • Knowledge of purchasing processes and practices would be useful.
  • Knowledge of master data process principles and practices would be useful.

Education

  • A bachelor’s degree in business management or related field is required.
