The City of Camas Finance Department is seeking a Procurement Contracts Specialist. The position supports citywide procurement operations within the Finance Department and offers flexible remote work options up to 2 days per week. The position is represented by the Camas Public Employees’ Association and is eligible for a full benefits package.
Job Duties
- Work collaboratively to support procurement processes across the organization.
- Administer and manage contracts throughout the procurement lifecycle, ensuring compliance with policies, best practices, and legal requirements.
- Support efficient, transparent, and effective procurement and contracting operations.
- Review, draft, and process formal and informal bidding documents, RFPs, and qualifications-based selections.
- Provide expert technical assistance and collaborative support to internal city staff and external contractors.
Minimum Qualifications
- Equivalent to bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics or Supply Management, Legal Studies, or related field.
- Two years of experience in procurement or purchasing and related legal terminology.
- Familiarity with e-procurement and contract management (preferred).
- Washington State public sector experience (preferred).
- APWA Contract Administration Committee (CAEC) certification or equivalent.
