Procurement Category Manager Remote

Remote role supporting global data center operations within the Supply Chain and Procurement Department.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage supplier contracts, ensuring alignment with price, quality, design compliance, service, support, and availability requirements.
• Conduct RFPs for new global design initiatives and collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate supplier proposals.
• Develop and execute Long Lead Equipment (LLE) strategy in close partnership with Planning and Engineering.
• Drive regional alignment and secure approvals for the LLE strategy.
• Lead supplier escalations related to delivery and quality issues.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in finance or related business fields, with a focus on procurement or supply chain management.
• 5-10 years of experience in contract negotiations with suppliers of long lead equipment.
• Strong understanding of master agreements, long-term agreements, and allocation models.
• Proficiency in analyzing financial reports, price proposals, and technical data.
• Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations related to purchasing and supply chain management.
