Procurement Category Management Manager (Remote)

For our client, we are seeking a Procurement Category Management Manager to join the team of a leader in the Food & Beverages space. This role will lead category sourcing strategy and supplier performance management across key spend areas, with a strong focus on cost discipline, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement. The position will partner closely with cross-functional teams to support product launches, strengthen supplier partnerships, and advance sustainable sourcing initiatives. It will also help drive digital and automated solutions that improve process efficiency and support better forecasting and decision-making. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $117,341 – $153,349 annually Responsibilities Develop long-term category sourcing strategies to minimize risks Implement continuous improvement projects to track savings Manage and review supplier performance with improvement plans Initiate sustainable sourcing to reduce environmental impact Support product launches with innovative supplier partnerships Enhance processes through digital and automated solutions Oversee budget and price forecasting with cost modeling Qualifications Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience considered 7+ years in procurement or category management Experience engaging with cross-functional teams Strong category expertise in food, pharmaceutical, or health industries Proven strategic mindset and flexibility in dynamic environments Familiarity with AI tools Excellent project management and analytical skills Benefits Performance-based incentives 401k with company match Healthcare coverage Broad benefits package Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
