Procurement and Sourcing Coordinator

About the role

Champion Your Future with Tarkett Sports and Tarkett Sports Indoor. The Procurement and Sourcing Coordinator will support day‑to‑day procurement activities while developing capabilities for future strategic sourcing initiatives. The role focuses on procurement coordination, purchase order management, supplier communications, and operational support, with increasing responsibility for supplier performance management, spend analysis, forecasting support, and sourcing‑related projects. This hybrid position is based out of the Adairsville and/or Calhoun, GA offices and reports to the Director of Strategic Sourcing.

Responsibilities

Procurement Operations

• Create, issue, and manage purchase requisitions and purchase orders.
• Coordinate with suppliers regarding pricing, lead times, and availability.
• Monitor deliveries and resolve order, invoice, and shipment discrepancies.
• Support supplier onboarding and maintain procurement records.
• Provide KPI reporting and inventory replenishment support.
• Work collaboratively with other departments within indoor sports to assure proper inventory management and alignment.

Supplier Performance & Analytics

• Support supplier scorecards and performance reporting.
• Analyze spend, pricing, and procurement trends.
• Assist with supplier business reviews and continuous improvement efforts.
• Track supplier compliance and cost‑saving opportunities.

Strategic Sourcing Support

• Assist with forecasting and supplier volume planning.
• Support market analysis, contract compliance, and PPV reporting.
• Participate in sourcing and supply chain optimization projects.

Requirements

Required Qualifications

• Associate degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, Operations, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 2+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain, inventory management, or related operations.
• Experience managing purchase orders, supplier communications, and procurement documentation.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem‑solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting sourcing, supplier management, planning, logistics, or inventory functions.
• Exposure to spend analysis, forecasting, supplier scorecards, or contract management.
• Professional certifications such as CPSM, CPSD, CSCP, APICS, or related credentials.
