About the Role
Serves as an administrative liaison between Procurement and Sales, acting as a primary point of contact and internal help desk for sales personnel. This role supports the Procurement team by receiving questions, researching information in company systems, and escalating issues to the Purchasing Manager when needed. The position is highly administrative in nature and helps ensure effective communication and coordination between departments.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a liaison between the Procurement and Sales teams.
- Act as a help desk resource for sales personnel by responding to questions and requests.
- Receive inquiries from Sales and research answers using internal systems and available tools.
- Escalate questions or issues to the Purchasing Manager when additional review or resolution is needed.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with sales personnel regarding product, purchasing, or order-related questions.
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Procurement function.
- Maintain accurate information and assist with follow-up to ensure timely issue resolution.
- Support communication flow between departments to improve responsiveness and service.
- Perform other administrative and support duties as assigned.
- Comply with all company policies and standards.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent Experience
- Strong administrative and organizational skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and follow through on open questions.
- Comfortable using computer systems to research information and respond to inquiries.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word preferred.
- Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check.
