Procurement Agent Level 1 or 2

About the role

Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Entry Level or Associate Procurement Agent to join our dynamic team in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma or Tukwila, Washington.

Responsibilities

• Create purchase orders in the procurement system per E7 program requirements and Boeing procurement policies.
• Monitor order status, track deliveries, and coordinate with suppliers and internal stakeholders (engineering, manufacturing, quality, planning) to resolve routine delivery or documentation issues.
• Support supplier communication and onboarding activities including requesting quotes, confirming specifications, and documenting supplier commitments.
• Maintain accurate procurement records, update supplier and part data, and ensure documentation meets audit requirements.
• Support small sourcing actions and assist with basic negotiations under supervision.

Qualifications

• Basic Qualifications for Procurement Agent 1 (Entry Level 1): High school diploma or GED; 0–2 years of procurement, purchasing, supply chain, or administrative experience; proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel; strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment.
• Basic Qualifications for Procurement Agent 2 (Entry Level 2): More than 1 year of experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain, or administrative experience; proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel; strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment.
• Preferred Qualifications for Procurement Agent 2 (Associate Level 2): More than 1 year of experience managing suppliers/vendors to deliver products and services; more than 1 year of experience with proposal development and contract negotiations; more than 1 year of experience working with U.S. Department of Defense contracts; bachelor’s degree or higher; more than 1 year of experience with various contract types for example: Time & Materials, Firm Fixed Price, Cost Plus type Government contracts, etc.

Pay & Benefits

• Summary pay range for Level 1: Oklahoma City, OK $54,400 - $67,200; Tukwila, WA $62,900 - $77,700.
• Summary pay range for Level 2: Oklahoma City, OK $64,600 - $79,800; Tukwila, WA $74,800 - $92,400.
