About the role

Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Associate Procurement Agent (Level 2) to join our dynamic team in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. This position is expected to be 100% onsite at one of the listed location options and is for 1st shift. The selected candidate must meet export control compliance requirements; a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required.

Responsibilities

• Performs continuous review and analysis of demand and supply
• Prepares and executes proprietary information agreements
• Supports sourcing strategies, negotiations, and documenting of contracts and agreements
• Communicates performance expectations and metrics to evaluate and monitor supplier performance

Requirements

• More than 1 year of experience in negotiating contracts or managing suppliers
• More than 1 year of experience in Supplier Management/Procurement as a Purchasing Agent or Buyer
• Must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process
• Must be a “U.S. Person” (U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee) to meet export control compliance requirements
• Position may require travel up to 10% of the time
• Relocation assistance is not provided; candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense

Qualifications

Basic:

• Typically 3 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience

Preferred:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher
• More than 1 year of experience managing suppliers/vendors to deliver products and services
• More than 1 year of experience with proposal development and contract negotiations
• More than 1 year of experience working with U.S. Department of Defense contracts
• More than 1 year of experience with various contract types (e.g., Time & Materials, Firm Fixed Price, Cost Plus type Government contracts)

Pay

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. Summary pay range: $64,600 - $79,800.
