Job Overview
Position Description
- Cook up testing activities with other professional staff, both school and non-school based, as required to maximize testing opportunities
- Work in a self-contained, team, department, itinerant capacity, or at a field work-site, as assigned
- Request assistance from, and work with, resource personnel as needed
- Participate in activities and staff meetings as required or assigned
- Ensure continuous communication with school administration both written and oral, to keep them informed of student(s) testing progress
- Manage allotted learning time to maximize student achievement
- Ensure classroom and/or testing environment is attractive, healthful, safe and conductive to learning and that materials are accessible to students and in good condition
- Collaborate with other professionals including guidance counselors and administrators to carry out school-wide testing or related activities as necessary
- Maintain a confidential and secure testing environment
Qualification Requirements
- A high school diploma or GED
- Demonstrated knowledge of FBISD program of studies related to assignments and public school mission, goals and organization
- Demonstrated knowledge of content, curriculum, methods, materials and equipment of instructional specialty(ies) to which assigned
- Demonstrated knowledge of adolescent growth and development or, if applicable, adult learning theory

- Sufficient mobility to move about in a room to check student work and monitor behavior, and sufficient voice modulation to dictate directions is also required.
- There is potential exposure to bodily fluids and common teen illnesses.
- Work will be conducted during normal school hours.
