About the role
The Processor Associate is responsible for billing completed work and maintaining Work-In-Progress (WIP).
Responsibilities
- Process and close out work orders daily accurately and efficiently.
- Review customer-specific and/or special billing notes prior to closing work orders to ensure accurate billing.
- Enter purchase orders accurately, if required, to ensure work orders are closed in a timely manner.
- Ensure all Scheduled Maintenance work orders are closed prior to month-end; route skips or cancels to the correct department personnel.
- Work through different billing categories to resolve pending work in a timely manner.
- Prioritize incomplete and aging work orders through to resolution.
- Collaborate with the accounting department on credits and invoice disputes to resolution.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- Invoicing experience is preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to maintain effective working relationships with employees, co-workers, and managers in other departments.
- Willingness to work off-hours as needed and assume additional responsibility when required.
- Mandatory overtime and/or Saturday shifts may be required based on business needs.
Physical Requirements
- Position is sedentary and desk-bound.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
- Occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Pay
The hourly range for this position is $21.00 - $24.00. The specific pay offered may be influenced by factors such as relevant experience, education, and work location.
