Processing Supervisor

Job Requirements

• Provide day to day supervision of processing line employees during scheduled shifts.
• Train, schedule and assess performance including appraisals and disciplinary action.
• Responsible for successful pre and post operational inspections.
• Interpret company policies to plant personnel and enforce safety regulations.
• Key in customer audits.
• Aid in maintaining appropriate documentation.
• Maintain liquid inventory and ensure proper rotation.
• Work with Quality department to ensure product safety.
• Willingness to assist at other facilities as needed.
• Supervise dissembling, cleaning, sanitizing and reassembling of processing equipment.
• Supervise tanker loader responsibilities, shipping and dock operations.
• Enforce safety programs and fill out incident reports.
• Assist with any other special projects as requested.

Qualifications

• Minimum of an Associate Degree in Business, Production Management or a related field.
• Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in food processing and sanitation or related field.
• Good communication skills, including fluency in Spanish preferred.
• Ability to provide documented training to employees.
• Strong organizational skills required.
