Responsibilities
- Identify and monitor critical parameters to ensure all assigned machines operate safely, efficiently, and reliably according to recommended guidelines
- Test and validate that a quality product is consistently produced
- Test and validate that processes are optimizing equipment to the fullest extent
- Ensure all required raw materials are available and defect-free prior to processing
- Identify, monitor, and report inconsistencies across all shifts not worked; create and implement corrective action plans to address discrepancies
- Perform minor repairs to molds and molding equipment
- Develop and deliver training for department personnel as needed
- Lead continuous improvement efforts related to processes, procedures, and training to support high customer satisfaction
- Perform and document product sampling
- Maintain and supervise cleanliness, organization, and proper working condition of assigned machines and tools
Requirements
Education/Experience:
- Minimum 2 years' experience in Injection Molding
- Experienced in either Toolmaking, Mechanic or Electric/Electronic systems
Qualifications/Skills:
- Able to work in a team environment
- Effectively manages time as a resource; gives balanced attention to appropriate long-term and short-term priorities
- Must have flexible work availability
- Ability to prioritize, plan and execute duties with minimal supervision
- Able to lift up to 60 lbs. and stand for a minimum of 12 hours
