Process Safety Management (PSM) Coordinator

Job Summary

The Utah Olympic Park is seeking a Process Safety Management (PSM) Coordinator to ensure the industrial ammonia refrigeration system remains safe, reliable, and fully compliant.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the implementation and maintenance of a PSM program
• Manage mechanical integrity inspections and documentation
• Follow up on Process Hazard Analysis actions
• Review and update operating procedures and training records
• Communicate with maintenance staff, operators, contractors, and engineers to ensure work is done safely and documented correctly
• Prepare for inspections and audits

Requirements

• Strong understanding of OSHA Process Safety Management and EPA Risk Management Program compliance
• Experience with industrial ammonia refrigeration systems and mechanical integrity programs
• Excellent organizational, communication, and project management skills
• Minimum 18 years of age
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as climbing ladders/stairs, entering mechanical spaces, lifting 50 lbs, wearing respiratory protection, working outdoors, and responding to after-hours emergencies

Qualifications

• RETA: CIRO/CARO certification (nice to have)
• IIAR familiarity/training (nice to have)
• Certified Safety Professional credentials (nice to have)
• Experience developing training programs, SOPs, or contractor safety programs (nice to have)
• Experience with EPA/OSHA inspections, audits, or Olympic/sports refrigeration facilities (nice to have)

Schedule, Pay & Benefits

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, primarily daytime hours
• Pay range starts at $27 an hour, with room to grow DOE
