The work model
Your role and responsibilities:
- Drive and perform product audit
- Develop and maintain Quality Plans, Control Plans, and inspection checklists, while deriving Critical to Quality (CTQ) parameters and establishing Q-gates.
- Monitor and analyze First Pass Yield metrics, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing strategies to enhance product quality and production efficiency.
- Proactively monitor customer complaints, conducting thorough analyses to determine root causes, and implementing corrective actions;
- Coordinate with Cross-Functional Teams (CFTs) during customer audits, Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), and certification audits (UL, CSA, ISO), ensuring all requirements are met and issues are promptly addressed.
- Perform COPQ analyses to identify cost-saving opportunities, implementing initiatives that reduce defects, improve efficiency, and enhance overall profitability;
- Mapping current manufacturing processes and identify areas for improvement through automation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in Mechanical/Industrial/Electrical Engineering or related field PLUS minimum 5 years of experience
- Proficient in quality tools like FMEA, 7 QC tools, 5S, 5Why, Kaizen, Poka-Yoke, SPC, DMAIC & 8D Root cause analysis
- Familiar with key industry standards such as UL1561, NEMA ST-20, IEEE C57.12.01, IEEE C57.12.91, DOE 2016, UL9540, UL1008S, UL1778, UL891 and CSA C22.2, which enhances compliance and product reliability.
- Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, and other process improvement methodologies is highly desirable.
