Quality Systems & Process Improvement Specialist

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct internal/external audits to varying compliance standards and identify operational bottlenecks.
• Develop mitigation plans and monitor their effectiveness.
• Support organizational scalability by developing repeatable, sustainable, and documented business processes that support growth.
• Lead efforts to achieve and maintain applicable quality certifications and accreditations.
• Facilitate cross-functional process improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency, quality, compliance, client satisfaction, and operational performance.
• Integrate quality management principles into business processes throughout the organization to ensure consistency, compliance, and operational excellence.
• Develop process maps, workflows, flowcharts, and procedural documentation across business functions.
• Develop and maintain quality directives, policies, and procedures, and support client quality inquiries and resolution efforts to ensure compliance, client satisfaction, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Working knowledge of anti-counterfeit electronic component identification, inspection methodologies, and industry standards.
• Understanding of Lean Six Sigma or other continuous improvement methodologies.
• Excellent technical writing and documentation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with quality management software preferred.
• Strong understanding of ISO9001, AS9120, ISO14001, and ISO27001.
• Root Cause Analysis, Risk Management, and Process Analysis.
• Process mapping methodologies and workflow design.

Qualifications

• Full-time, in-office role based in Tampa, Florida.
• Monday–Thursday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST / 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM CST (includes a paid lunch break and afternoon break).
• Fridays: performance-based early release.
