Your role entails overseeing and enhancing the efficiency, quality, and safety of production processes. You will work closely with the team to identify process improvements, implement best practices, and ensure that fabrication projects are executed seamlessly and in compliance with industry standards. Your leadership will be instrumental in streamlining operations, reducing costs, and maintaining a culture of continuous improvement, ultimately contributing to the successful execution of live events and enhancing the overall audience experience. Essential Responsibilities Lead a small, diverse group of individuals with varying skills to completion of project goals by supporting team collaboration and cooperationOrganize and manage workflow to ensure team members understand their duties and delegated tasksAnswer technical questions from team members associated with manufacturing tasks.Share skills and knowledge with others to help with department development. Assist with training employee within the department.Read, understand, and utilize all mechanical drawingsUnderstanding of quality control processes for assigned product/element to support quality control of elements and/or design flaws by flagging areas not meeting specifications and addressing appropriately through rework or bringing to the attention of others. Make improvement suggestionsMaintain awareness of project schedules and deadlines for team; raise concerns and/or suggest adjustments in an effective and timely manner if deadlines and/or goals are in jeopardyInteract with other departments as necessary to refine understanding of their needs and present suggestions, feedback, and progress reportsIndependently complete complex projects with minimal guidance/supervisionManage materials, prints and supplies and assign the teams for the projectsEnsure product labeling requirements are accurately executedPerform required maintenance and upkeep on equipmentTake initiative to improve methodology and find solutions to boost productivity for departmentCommunicate with management on projects and team performanceKeep a clean, organized, and safe workspace, including tools and equipmentAccurately capture all labor hours and material issuing in EpicorAdhere to all company safety policies and proceduresAttend meetings, seminars, and training sessions as required. Engage in training/development programs to enhance skills Minimum Qualification 4 years of mechanical or welding experience.High School Degree or GEDPreferred experienced in Epicor, Slack, and Box. This includes, safety glasses, reflective vest, ear plugs, safety toed shoes, and other PPE as required by the location.
