About the role

Defines process integration roadmaps to meet requirements, goals, and milestones for incoming technology transfer. Defines and establishes flow, procedures, and equipment configuration for a module. Extracts insights from structured and unstructured data by quickly synthesizing large volumes of data, applying statistics, machine learning, coding techniques, and/or programming languages. Owns sustaining and continuous improvement of quality and integrated defect and parametric measurements in a startup and high-volume manufacturing environment. Drives low yield analysis and yield improvement activities with both internal and external stakeholders. Ensures continuous improvement programs are in place to prevent quality, line yield, and sort yield excursions. Performs quality and reliability risk assessments for potentially discrepant manufacturing material as well as for process changes.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • PhD in materials science, chemistry, electrical engineering, or solid state physics.
  • Semiconductor manufacturing process knowledge through coursework, chemistry, materials, and physics, as well as hands-on semiconductor laboratory experimental experience and any internship at a US semiconductor manufacturing company.

Preferred Qualifications

  • PhD in materials science, experimental chemistry, electrical engineering, or experimental solid-state physics.
  • Semiconductor manufacturing process knowledge through coursework, chemistry, materials, and physics, as well as hands-on semiconductor laboratory experimental experience and any internship at a US semiconductor manufacturing company.
  • One or more terms of internship experience at US leading-edge semiconductor manufacturing companies.
  • Hands-on, first-hand experience and expertise in semiconductor devices and circuits failure analysis and fault isolation technologies and tools.
  • Exposure to current state-of-the-art tools and technologies, and deep understanding of future development directions of those tools and technologies.
  • Excellent demonstrated teamwork, inquisitive mind, and curiosity to look beyond current state-of-the-art tools and technologies.
  • Innovative and self-driven mindset.

Pay

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US: $120,860.00 - $170,630.00 USD. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
