About the Role

Contributes to module process development, process integration flows, and equipment configuration for manufacturing modules. Supports yield improvement initiatives by analyzing defect data, conducting experiments, and assisting in risk assessments. Collaborates with engineering teams to optimize metrology strategies and troubleshoot process flow issues. Contributes to continuous improvement efforts in high-volume manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

  • Support module process development and process integration flows.
  • Assist in equipment configuration for manufacturing modules.
  • Analyze defect data and conduct experiments to improve yield.
  • Participate in risk assessments and troubleshoot process flow issues.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize metrology strategies.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts in high-volume manufacturing.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Actively pursuing a PhD in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Material Science, or Chemistry.
  • Proficiency in microscopy techniques.
  • Background in circuit design and semiconductor device physics.
  • Basic scripting knowledge in Python or similar programming languages.
  • Understanding of scan and automatic test pattern generation methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3rd or 4th year PhD candidates are highly preferred.
  • Experience with hands-on experiments in physics, microscopy, EDA tools, or testing engineering.
  • Familiarity with semiconductor manufacturing processes and post-silicon debugging techniques.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and platforms, such as JMP, Python, or MATLAB.
  • Experience with Tessent tools and interpreting diagnosis data.

Pay

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US: $102,800.00 - $139,100.00 USD. Our standard internship rates are based on your degree, location, and the job role. Schedule

This role will require an on-site presence (Shift 1).

Primary location: US, Oregon, Hillsboro.
