About the role

We are part of the assembly and test technology development team based in Chandler, supporting advanced electronic packaging technology development. Our team directly supports quality and reliability failure analysis and also supports package material and assembly process development.

Responsibilities

  • Conducting failure analysis to identify electrical failures
  • Supporting root cause understanding of new package technologies through physical failure analysis
  • Setting up, operating, and maintaining laboratory instruments
  • Conducting experiments, making observations, and documenting results
  • Developing conclusions based on experimental data

Requirements

  • Associate degree or Bachelor's degree in Material Science Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related fields of study
  • 1+ years of hands-on project experience on a scientific topic
  • Familiarity with basic scientific principles and some laboratory experience

Qualifications

  • Prior experience with electrical failure analysis
  • Prior experience with mechanical polishing, optical microscopes, and electron microscopes
  • Understanding of packaging material properties and behaviors

Skills

  • Verbal and technical writing skills
  • Teamwork and ability to work under pressure
  • Organization and attention to detail

Pay

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US: $60,450.00 - 85,340.00 USD (Hourly Role)
