About the role
The Process Improvement Specialist will play a critical role in enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of their assigned areas/departments. This position is responsible for analyzing current processes, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing solutions to optimize performance, reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Three (3) years of direct experience in process improvement related to optimizing business processes or strategies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
- Familiarity with Epic Systems.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough analysis of existing processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
- Evaluate, map, design, and create business process flows to identify process improvement opportunities and eliminate waste.
- Support initiatives that drive quality, cost, productivity and service delivery projects to completion using process improvement methodologies.
- Gather and analyze data to understand process performance and identify trends.
- Develop and propose innovative solutions to improve process efficiency and effectiveness.
- Lead the implementation of process improvement initiatives, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
- Monitor the performance of implemented solutions and make necessary adjustments to ensure continuous improvement.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and successful implementation of process improvements.
- Provide training and support to staff on new processes and improvements.
- Prepare and present reports on process improvement initiatives and outcomes to senior management.
- Demonstrate a strong desire to learn new concepts, tools and business practices and following through on tasks and assignments.
