About the role

The Process Engineering Intern will join the Jacobs Life Sciences group in Cary, NC, focusing on supporting projects in the Life Sciences, Biotechnology, and Pharmaceutical industries. Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Bio Engineering, or a related degree from an accredited university.
  • Rising Junior status or further along in the degree program.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
  • Authorization to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in completing project deliverables as part of a project team.
  • Learn to read and develop Process Flow Diagrams, Piping and Instrument Diagrams, Equipment Lists, and Equipment Data Sheets.
  • Participate in the Jacobs Life Sciences North America Process Training Program.
  • Communicate effectively with all levels of Jacobs staff and external stakeholders.
