Process Engineering Intern

About the Role

We are seeking a Process Engineer Intern to support equipment programming and equipment qualification activities within a regulated manufacturing environment. This role provides hands-on experience working with engineering teams on process development, equipment validation (IQ/OQ/PQ), and manufacturing support. The intern will contribute to real-world engineering projects focused on equipment commissioning, validation, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Assist with programming, setup, or configuration of process equipment.
• Support program adjustments and verification during equipment prove-out.
• Translate engineering requirements into machine or process parameters.
• Support execution of IQ/OQ/PQ activities.
• Assist with data collection, test execution, and documentation.
• Support development of validation protocols and reports.
• Assist with process development and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support validation runs and equipment testing.
• Participate in troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
• Prepare and update validation protocols, reports, and work instructions.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, safety, and quality standards.
• Work with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Maintenance teams.
• Participate in meetings and communicate project updates.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, Mechatronics, or related) completed within the last 12 months or currently in progress.
• Basic understanding of manufacturing processes.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and basic GD&T.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
