Position Summary
Walmart, a global leader in the retail industry, seeks an Industrial Engineer to join their Supply Chain team. This role is ideal for an early-career engineer interested in applying industrial engineering principles to improve operational efficiency, support automation initiatives, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts across the company's distribution network.
What you'll do...
- Partner with operations leaders to understand business challenges and recommend process improvements.
- Conduct time studies, work measurement activities, and process observations to identify operational improvement opportunities.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret operational data to support decision-making and process optimization efforts using statistical and analytical tools.
- Develop process maps, standard work documentation, and operational reports.
- Support implementation and validation of automation, engineering, and process improvement initiatives.
- Present findings and recommendations to operational stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related engineering field.
- 0-3 years of engineering, manufacturing, distribution, and/or supply chain experience.
- Fundamental knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, Continuous Improvement, Operational Excellence, and statistical analysis principles.
- Experience with process mapping, data analysis, and statistical software such as Minitab.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data visualization tools (PowerBI, Tableau, etc.).
- Strong written/verbal communication, interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Internship or co-op experience in manufacturing, logistics, distribution, or process improvement preferred.

Pay
The annual salary range for this position is $80,000.00 - $120,000.00. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include: Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location), stock.
