Process Engineer
Summary Of Responsibilities
- Collaborates with the department to solve technical problems
- Engineers' major facilities and component parts and investigates field project assignments
- Develops, analyzes, prepares and executes technical projects
- Ensures compliance with safety standards, quality standards and cost
- Collaborates with Quality for root cause analysis of quality issues
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience
- 2–5 years of experience in an industrial or heavy manufacturing environment
- Strong communication, computer and problem solving skills
- Ability to work safely in industrial environments while wearing required PPE
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in steelmaking or metals manufacturing
- Experience in a union environment
