About the role
The estimated base salary range for this role is $80,000 to $100,000 per year. Individual pay is based upon location, skills and expertise, experience and other relevant factors (salary may be adjusted based on geographic location).
Responsibilities
- Identify and lead manufacturing process improvement projects
- Analyze production issues using data and on-the-floor observations
- Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
- Ensure products meet technical specifications and quality standards
- Plan and execute factory tests and experiments
- Evaluate results, write reports, and drive follow-up actions
- Serve as a project leader for initiatives such as:
- Cost reduction
- New product development
- Energy optimization
- Process improvements
- Act as a technical leader within a production area
- Drive adoption of scientific and engineering principles across the plant
- Lead cross-functional teams to achieve improvement goals
- Partner with operators and team leads on hands-on troubleshooting
- Apply Lean, Six Sigma, DOE, and SPC tools to improve performance

- Effective communication skills (technical and non-technical)

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical or Mechanical preferred)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Ability to:
- Multi-task
- Work independently
- Manage multiple responsibilities
What will make you stand out
- 3+ years of process engineering experience in manufacturing
- Experience with:
- Minitab
- Microsoft Access
- Background in:
- Lean Manufacturing
- Six Sigma methodologies
- Six Sigma Green Belt (or higher) certification
- Experience with:
- Design of Experiments (DOE)
- Statistical Process Control (SPC)
- Proven ability to:
- Lead process improvements
- Drive cost savings and efficiency gains
- Strong ability to translate technical concepts into practical solutions
