About the role
The Process Engineer II will join the Engineering & Quality team at Collectors, a leader in innovative technology for collecting and selling collectibles. Reporting to the Process Engineering Manager, this role is based in Santa Ana, CA, with occasional travel to vendors and Collectors facilities.
Responsibilities
- Assist with process development, equipment design, validation, and implementation
- Perform process development actions to improve and stabilize existing processes
- Prepare and deliver engineering-related presentations
- Document process steps to ensure work standardization
- Perform root cause analysis and implement 5S and lean manufacturing concepts
- Support maintenance and equipment repair actions, including validation of repairs and verification of calibrations
Requirements
- Hold a 4-year Mechanical, Manufacturing, or similar Engineering degree
- 1-2 years experience in high-volume manufacturing or industrial automation
- Experience with 5S, Lean, JIT, or Kaizen approaches
- Familiar with tooling design and fixturing
- Advanced Microsoft Excel or similar skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Curious and seeks to learn new processes, systems, and tools
Qualifications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Experience with PLCs, using Allen Bradley or Beckhoff
- Experience with plastics welding, specifically ultrasonics, and injection molding
- Familiarity with machine vision systems, both in hardware and software
- Capable in managing individual tasks and deadlines independently
Skills
- Experience with industrial safety standards and best practices
- Spanish or Japanese language skills are a plus

Pay
The salary range for this position is $72,000 - $91,588. Actual compensation on this range varies based on a variety of non-discriminatory factors, including location, job level, experience, and skill set.
Schedule
This role requires you to be onsite in the office 5 days per week.
