Process Engineer - Flares

About the role

The Process Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing flaring systems to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Design and analyze flaring systems to meet regulatory requirements and process needs.
• Develop and implement engineering solutions to optimize flare operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate flare systems into existing processes.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.
• Provide technical support and guidance to operational staff on flare system operations and maintenance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in process engineering or related field.
• Experience with flaring systems and related equipment.
• Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and safety standards.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with process simulation software.
• Knowledge of HAZOP and FMEA methodologies.
