Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and optimize PCB assembly processes (SMT/PTH)
- Support New Product Introduction (NPI) from prototype through production (DFM/DFA, pilot builds)
- Program and optimize SMT and related equipment (ASMPT, Fuji, Panasonic, AOI, reflow, wave solder, coating systems)
- Analyze defects and drive corrective actions (RCA, 8D, FMEA)
- Improve Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as yield, First Pass Yield (FPY), Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), cycle time, and scrap
- Create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and maintain process documentation
- Collaborate cross-functionally and support audits, training, and technical guidance
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (or equivalent)
- 5-7 years in manufacturing/process engineering, preferably in PCBA/SMT
- Strong knowledge of PCB assembly, Statistical Process Control (SPC), and data-driven problem solving
- Excellent communication, analytical, and continuous improvement skills
