Process Engineer

About the role

Chemours is seeking a Process Engineer to join our growing Manufacturing Technology team. This position will be available at the Washington Works site in Parkersburg, WV and report directly to the Polymers Manufacturing Technology Manager. This role will serve as a Process Engineer in the Polymers operations at Washington Works.

Responsibilities

• Act as a Process Engineering resource
• Recommend and implement solutions to drive continuous improvement
• Aid with recommendations for day-to-day troubleshooting
• Lead and participate in incident investigations
• Lead Process Hazards Analysis (PHA)
• Provide environmental support

Requirements

• BS in Chemical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineer with a process background
• Demonstrated basic knowledge of typical equipment used in a Chemical Plant
• Good Oral and Written skills
• Willing and able to wear required PPE
• Five years or more of engineering experience

Preferred

• 10 years or more of experience in a chemical manufacturing process
• Experience leading/participating in Process Hazards Analyses
• Six Sigma Green Belt (or higher) Certification

Pay

Pay Range (in Local Currency): $97,843.00 - $152,880.00
Chemours Level 25 Annual Bonus Target: 8%
