About the role
The Process Engineer will contribute to projects across the Advanced Manufacturing sector, focusing on process systems, process-mechanical, bulk gas delivery and ultra-high purity (UHP/VHP/Gas/Chemical) systems, industrial waste lift, collection and treatment, and ultra-pure water (UPW) systems.
Responsibilities
- Perform complex engineering design tasks on assigned water, industrial process and wastewater-related projects.
- Collaborate with a wide range of technical disciplines to develop and manage project scopes, budgets, staffing, and schedules.
- Lead others in developing and coordinating project construction specifications.
- Conduct and/or coordinate quality assurance and quality control on assigned projects.
- Review contractor/vendor submittals for adherence to contract documents and industry standards.
- Involvement in the permitting process, including meetings with clients, contractors, stakeholders, and regulatory personnel.
- Coordinate with regulatory agencies to obtain final approvals.
- Develop and update project design standards and guidelines; prepare abstracts and technical papers.
- Prepare proposal documentation and participate in interviews.
- Interact with clients and management regarding project status, scope, schedule, and budget.
- Apply and share design expertise.
- Manage document preparation including plans, specifications, and construction cost estimates.
- Research and understand regulatory and other factors impacting individual projects.
- Ensure projects meet needs in a timely and effective manner.
- Occasional travel to domestic sites may be required.
Requirements
- Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in the U.S. preferred.
- Familiarity with Revit, AutoCAD, NavisWorks, Pipe-Flo, Caesar or Autopipe pipe stress software, Bluebeam or Adobe Acrobat, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university.
- 5+ years of experience with process, waste, and ultra-pure water (UPW) systems in the semiconductor or advanced technology industries.

- Field work may include exposure to the elements, including inclement weather.
