Process Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Aid in analyzing production processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and waste.
• Support the implementation of lean manufacturing tools such as 5S, Kaizen, value stream mapping, and standard work.
• Document and improve standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
• Collect, organize, and analyze production data related to cycle times, downtime, scrap, and throughput.
• Develop reports, dashboards, and KPIs for manufacturing performance.
• Conduct root cause analysis for process variation and production issues.
• Work directly on the production floor to observe processes and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assist in layout changes, workstation balancing, and workflow optimization.
• Support the implementation of engineering changes and new process introductions.
• Participate in small to mid-size improvement projects under guidance of senior engineers.
• Perform time studies, capacity analysis, and labor utilization evaluations.
• Track project timelines, action items, and implementation progress.
• Collaborate closely with production, quality, maintenance, and engineering teams.
• Communicate process changes and ensure proper documentation and training materials are updated.
• Assist in troubleshooting production inefficiencies alongside senior staff.
