About the role
The Process Engineer provides technical support and process leadership to ensure manufacturing assets operate at optimal performance in terms of output, material usage, energy efficiency, and product quality. This role is responsible for monitoring and improving process performance through data analysis, auditing, and preventive practices, enabling rapid identification of deviations and implementation of corrective actions.
Responsibilities
- Perform continuous analysis of manufacturing processes to identify improvement opportunities and implement corrective actions
- Maintain process performance to meet output, efficiency, and product specification targets
- Execute standard control processes and ensure adherence to established operating procedures
- Utilize data collection, auditing, and preventive maintenance practices to detect deviations and performance gaps
- Lead or support root cause corrective action (RCCA) investigations and implement sustainable solutions
- Design and execute trials and Design of Experiments (DOE) to optimize processes and validate improvements
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of asset performance and recommend data-driven improvement strategies
- Lead defined process improvement initiatives and optimization projects within manufacturing operations
- Partner with cross-functional teams to identify and implement efficiency, quality, and cost improvements
- Review and adjust raw material specifications based on performance data to drive process effectiveness
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to resolve technical and operational issues
- Share insights, learnings, and best practices within the technical community and participate in Centers of Excellence (COEs) as applicable
- Provide on-site technical support during construction, commissioning, and startup activities
- Actively support and promote a strong safety culture by encouraging safe behaviors and participating in safety initiatives
- Contribute to continuous improvement of safety performance and operational standards
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related science with a minimum of 1 years of experience in industrial continuous process manufacturing
- Experience of identifying and implementing process improvements
- Demonstrated problem solving skills including complex data analysis
- Proven results orientation including the ability to lead key projects to successful completion
- Proven ability to make timely decisions
- Experience with DOE for process improvement
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
- Proven analytical and quality improvement ability
- Demonstrated collaboration skills including the ability to interact with a broad range of employees
- Solid interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Ability to set and communicate expectations to team members
- Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation and respond to off-hours issues in support of a continuous 24/7 manufacturing operation
- Ability to interface at all levels of the organization, both internally and externally

Pay
Pay Range: $75,800.00 - $104,200.00 Annual
Schedule
This is a full-time position with a continuous 24/7 manufacturing operation.
