What you'll do
- Evaluate and improve manufacturing processes to increase efficiency, quality, and throughput.
- Design, test, and implement new manufacturing methods, tooling, and equipment improvements.
- Develop production layouts, workflows, and equipment configurations to optimize manufacturing operations.
- Partner with production, quality, maintenance, and engineering teams to troubleshoot manufacturing issues and implement long-term solutions.
- Support Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives that reduce waste and improve productivity.
- Analyze production data, labor utilization, and material flow to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation, process standards, and engineering reports.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and support ongoing improvements to manufacturing processes.
- Assist with new product introductions and engineering change implementation.
What we're looking for
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or related Engineering discipline.
- 3+ years of manufacturing or process engineering experience in a production environment.
- Experience supporting manufacturing operations, process improvements, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Strong CAD experience (SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD, or similar).
- Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience with manufacturing equipment, tooling, fabrication, machining, or industrial assembly processes is highly preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Pay
$85,000 - $130,000 per year
