Process Engineer

The Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and driven Process Engineer to enhance and optimize critical wax manufacturing processes, including injection, pattern assembly, pattern NDT, and inspection. This role is responsible for ensuring process compliance, driving continuous improvement, enhancing process stability, and supporting product quality through data-driven controls and cross-functional collaboration.

The ideal candidate will partner closely with Engineering, Operations, Quality, and suppliers to implement best practices, resolve process issues, and support operational excellence across the Wax Department.

About the role

This role is based in Groton, CT and works 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Materials Science, or Manufacturing Engineering.
• Experience in injection tooling or pattern die design.
• A minimum of 3 years of manufacturing industry experience.
• Six Sigma green belt and/or black belt.

Skills

• Detail-oriented and driven.
• Experience in wax manufacturing processes.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
