Process Engineer

Job Description

Develop, implement and improve manufacturing processes that assure product quality, operators' safety and operation efficiency.

Major Accountability

• Develop process document to satisfy product design requirement and mass production requirement.
  • New production line setup including concept design, line assembly, debugging and trial run.
  • Assembly line process optimization, ensuring the best production quality and capacity, lean manufacturing implementation.
  • Develop robust packing for products to ensure product safety.
  • Develop, verify and updated production tooling and fixture to ensure high efficiency and quality production.
  • Support sales department for new product quotation.
  • Cooperate with other department to solve technical problems.
  • Manage, support and train operator who actually perform daily production.

Key Measurement

• Implement and improve production process.
• Develop process file on time.
• Productive, FPY, Defect per unit, PPM of complaint.
• Quantity of new product introduced.

Knowledge Required

• Basic working English, written is must, verbal is plus.
• Knowledge of APQP, TS16949 working experience is plus.
• BS degree in engineering, Electromechanical or HVAC is plus.
• Proficient in CAD, layouts, assembly drawings and/or component part drawings required, desirable knowledge in Pro-E.
• Leverage in Lean & 6 sigma will be a plus.
