About the role

The Process Engineer will evaluate, design, and support membrane process gas applications, focusing on the high growth biogas upgrading market. They will work closely with Commercial, Engineering, Quality, Business, Product Strategy, and Product Development teams to support customer inquiries, troubleshoot existing systems, develop and support design tools, develop new offerings, and facilitate strong customer relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate Aspen heat & material balance simulations for new and existing customers
  • Support P&ID development, Operability Reviews, and Hazard Reviews
  • Troubleshoot and assist customers with product performance issues
  • Train customers on the safe installation and operation of membranes
  • On-site service support for existing membrane systems
  • Investigate product failures to assess customer warranty claims
  • Conduct performance tests on product improvements and incorporate into new product specifications
  • Influence product development and provide technical resources to the business and product development team

Requirements

  • 3+ years of Process Engineering experience, with membrane process design experience preferred
  • Field experience with gas processing equipment, preferably in biogas, natural gas, or petrochemical industries
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering
  • A valid driver’s license and a good driving record

Qualifications

  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for customer interaction
  • Initiative and self-confidence to work independently
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally
