Process Assistant, IAG1-AR

About the role

The Amazon operations team is looking for Process Assistants with a strong record of achieving results to join the expanding team supporting operations leaders and associates in delivering strong operations results within our fulfillment centers.

Responsibilities

• Production duties as needed: pick/pack orders, receive/stow product, ensure inventory accuracy, and unload/load trucks
• Communicating instructions to other associates, motivating them, and keeping their work areas safe

• We work to regulate our sites as much as possible, but even with climate controls the noise and temperature levels can vary day to day. Hearing protection is available
• You may be asked to work on a secure mezzanine at a height of up to 40 feet, or on powered equipment (forklift, cherry picker, etc.)
• You may be asked to lift up to 49 pounds, stand/walk for up to 10-12 hours, and push, pull, squat, bend and reach with or without reasonable accommodation

Basic qualifications

• At least 18 years old, and authorized to work in the United States
• 1+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience
• High school or equivalent
• Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
• Can lift up to 49 pounds, stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and be able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach
• Work 40 hours/week, and overtime as required

Preferred qualifications

• 2+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience

Pay

USA, NY, Niagara Falls - $23.00 - $24.00 USD hourly

Launch bonus

This role is Launch Bonus Eligible. The bonus is $10,000 pre-tax.

Eligibility criteria:

• Must be located at a site outside of 50 miles from the launch site. This is determined by the distance from the candidate's home site to the launch site
• Has not received another launch bonus within the current calendar year
• Hired within 30 days of first receive (FR)

Collection of funds: When a candidate accepts an offer with a bonus, it will be automatically paid out 3 weeks prior to their start date.

Repayment scenarios: The employee would need to pay back the launch bonus in certain situations. In all cases the bonus will be prorated based on the time in service at the new launch site. These scenarios include:

• If the candidate leaves Amazon voluntarily or involuntarily within 12 months of receiving the launch bonus
• If the candidate is demoted from the role voluntarily or involuntarily within 12 months of receiving the bonus
• If the candidate fails to start at the new site
• If the candidate chooses to laterally transfer to another site within 6 months of the launch
