About the Role
The Problem-Solving Courts (PSC) Program Coordinator is responsible for facilitating and monitoring program participants’ involvement in and completion of ancillary service components of the Mental Health court program. The oversight includes, but is not limited to, acquisition of and facilitating access to health, legal, family services, behavioral services, and non-clinical services as needed by participants. This position does not provide the services but facilitates access to and monitors progress of behavior, attendance, compliance, skills learned, and implementation. The Program Coordinator will manage a caseload of 50 clients, oversee Case Management Services, maintain budget, grants, and financial reports, and manage data collection for program reports and evaluation.
Responsibilities
- Manage Case Management Services, including meetings, coordinating service providers, and managing referrals.
- Oversee a Case Manager with a caseload of 50 clients, developing case plans, monitoring progress, entering case notes, and reporting to court.
- Responsible for the daily operation of the Mental Health court, grants, financial reports, and data collection.
- Facilitate access to services for clients and monitor participant progress.
- Establish new contacts and develop community partnerships.
- Evaluate new resources for clients and assess program and participant needs.
- Plan, develop, and evaluate components of the Mental Health court while acting as a management liaison between agencies and program participants.
Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university.
Experience: Five (5) years of experience in healthcare, criminal justice, counseling, corrections, or law enforcement, and three (3) years of managerial/supervisory experience.
Note: This position will not act in a clinical capacity, and supervision hours will not be offered for clinical licensing.

- Create and sustain community partners to promote the program.
- Enter data into management information systems and multi-task in a dynamic program environment.
- Think critically about the population and use program data to address service trends and participant needs.
- Complete legal and field research to maintain an updated understanding of Problem-Solving Courts, behavior, and criminal justice best practices.
- Develop partnerships with knowledge of clinical and criminal justice services.
- Perform all essential functions of the position.

- Microsoft Office Suite (Excel for statistical reports and fiscal tracking, PowerPoint for presentations, Outlook for communication).
- AIMS for PSC statistical reports on a quarterly and annual basis.
