Covenant Living of Florida in Plantation, FL, invites you to join our dynamic therapy team as a PRN Speech-Language Pathologist.
Responsibilities
- Provide speech-language therapy services to residents in a skilled nursing facility setting.
- Assess and document progress of residents based on established goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Conduct initial and follow-up assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of therapy interventions.
- Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to stay updated on best practices and new technologies.
Requirements
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of Florida.
- Experience working in a skilled nursing facility or similar healthcare setting preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with a diverse population.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
