PRN Retail Pharmacist

Key Responsibilities

• Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently in accordance with legal and company standards
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing patient inquiries and offering medication counseling
• Review prescriptions for accuracy, potential drug interactions, and appropriate dosage
• Maintain proper documentation and record-keeping for all prescriptions and patient interactions
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local pharmacy regulations
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient care
• Manage inventory levels and ensure proper storage of medications
• Stay updated on new pharmaceutical products, regulations, and industry best practices

Skills and Qualifications

• A valid and current pharmacist license in the state of practice
• Proven experience working as a retail pharmacist preferred
• Strong knowledge of pharmacy laws, regulations, and medication therapies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Flexibility to work on an as-needed basis, including evenings, weekends, and holidays if required
