Retail Pharmacist
About the Position
You will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and effective use of medications for patients. You will manage medication therapy, provide expert clinical advice, and support patient health outcomes through comprehensive pharmaceutical care. This role involves collaborating with healthcare professionals to optimize medication regimens and prevent adverse drug interactions. You will engage in patient counseling to educate individuals on proper medication use, potential side effects, and health maintenance strategies. Ultimately, your expertise will contribute to improving patient safety, enhancing therapeutic outcomes, and supporting public health initiatives such as immunization programs.
What we are looking for
- Educational and Experience Requirements:
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree
- Registered Pharmacist with current Minnesota license
- Strong knowledge of pharmacology, medication therapy management, and clinical pharmacy practices
- Experience with retail pharmacy operations and pharmacy benefit management systems
- Excellent communication skills for effective patient counseling and interdisciplinary collaboration
