PRN Respiratory Therapist - Night Shift

Role: Respiratory Therapist III responsible for delivering advanced respiratory care, medication administration, and patient assessment in complex critical care settings. Responsibilities: Provide high-quality patient care, perform ventilator management, airway procedures, arterial blood gas analysis, and patient education. Collaborate with healthcare teams, mentor staff and students, promote safety, and participate in performance improvement projects. Ensure accurate documentation, support invasive and non-invasive procedures, and uphold evidence-based practices. Qualifications & Skills: Associates or Bachelor's in Respiratory Therapy; valid Respiratory Care Professional and NBRC-RRT certifications; BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required. Minimum of two years of critical care experience; strong communication, critical thinking, and relationship-building skills; proficient in computer and database use. Additional Requirements: Ability to work independently, serve as preceptor, and adapt to diverse patient needs, including population-specific considerations.
