Southwest Montana Veteran's Home is searching for a talented Physical Therapist (PT) to join our PRN team. We provide education on dementia training, wound care, vestibular rehab, modality use, skilled maintenance, and many more programming topics. About the role

The primary purpose of this position is to ensure the highest quality of resident care, support staff, and establish a positive reputation in the community while delivering on the Eduro Healthcare Values of wellness, compassion, customer experience, and company results. Responsibilities

  • Evaluate a Resident’s condition and develop an appropriate physical rehabilitation plan.
  • Help Residents improve their mobility.
  • Assist Residents through their tasks and monitor their performance.
  • Inform Residents what they should anticipate in different stages of their recovery and how they will handle each situation.
  • Maintain Resident confidence and protect facility operations by keeping information confidential.
  • Supervise the activities of physical therapy assistants when required.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment by protecting Residents and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols.
  • Comply with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements.
  • Contribute to inter-disciplinary team efforts in resident care.

Requirements

  • Must be a graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
  • Must hold current and active PT license or registration in the state employed.
  • Experience working with geriatric patients is a plus.
  • Completion of orientation required by company policy.
  • Health screening and TB test within two weeks of employment.
  • Become familiar with and comply with all local, state, and federal regulations relating to the job.
  • Show within three (3) days of hire satisfactory evidence of identity and eligibility for employment.

  • Monday to Friday

Location

In person in Butte, MT. Ability to commute is required.
