The Physical Therapist Assistant shall implement the plan of care as established by the RPT and the physician in a professional, competent manner, upholding excellence with quality of care.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with physical therapy exercises under the supervision of the Physical Therapist (RPT)
• Help patients maintain proper posture and alignment during exercises
• Provide patient education on physical therapy techniques and home exercise programs
• Document patient progress and communicate with other healthcare team members as needed

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy Assistant from an accredited program
• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant
• Experience in a healthcare setting preferred but not required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Passing scores on the National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE)
• Current CPR certification
• Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
