Job Summary
As a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), you will provide exceptional, personalized care in our skilled nursing facility. Your responsibilities include implementing therapeutic interventions to improve patients' mobility through exercise, massage, gait and balance training, and other methods.Responsibilities
- Treat patients using exercise, massage, gait and balance training, and other therapeutic interventions.
- Provide exercise instruction and demonstrate empathy during patient interactions.
- Document treatment outcomes to enhance patients' physical abilities and well-being.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff to keep everyone informed.
Requirements
- An active state PTA license is required.
- Some skilled nursing facility (SNF) experience is required.
- This is an 'as needed' position with no guaranteed hours.
- Multiple locations are available for PRN coverage, with potential full-time opportunities at additional locations.
