PRN Physical Therapist Assistant

About the role

Hillview Health and Rehab is located in Elizabethton, TN, and is surrounded by beautiful mountain scenery and the Watauga River. The facility is close to several outdoor attractions, including Roan Mountain State Park, Watauga Lake, and the Appalachian Trail.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed physical therapists in the delivery of patient care
• Perform therapeutic exercises and treatments under supervision
• Assist in the assessment and documentation of patient progress
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or related field
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of Tennessee
• Passing score on the National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE)
• At least one year of relevant work experience in a healthcare setting

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Knowledge of rehabilitation equipment and techniques
• Ability to lift and move patients as needed
